Lloyd W. Rowe, 78, of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on October 2, 1926 in Eaton, Ohio to the late Union B. and Jennie Duvall Rowe. He married Susan R. Valiska and she survives,wife of 53 years, along with there two children, son and daughter-in-law; Allen W. and Ginger Rowe of Troy, OH and daughter and son-in-law; Dawn M. Michael J. Voelkl of Dayton, OH and five grandchildren, Christopher Amy Rowe of Miamisburg, OH; Nicholas K. Michaelyn Rowe of Troy, OH; Benjamin Rowe of Troy, OH; Chelsea Voelkl and Madison Voelkl of Dayton, OH. Also surviving are his two sisters, Dorotha Swihart of West Alexandria, OH and Hilda May Wilhelm of Eaton, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Rowe. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy; an a was a member of Troy City Council in the 4th Ward from 1996-1997. He attended University of Cincinnati Engineering School. He was a Quality Control Engineer with Price Brothers and Flexicore Systems, Inc. Friends may call on the family Friday, April 1, 2005 from 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. Service will be on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 10:30AM at the Baird Funeral Home with the Chaplain Hans Killius officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
