Lloyd H. Eckman, 88, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Sunday, February 13, 2005 at the Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born in Monessen, PA to the late Elder and Myrtle Eckman. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eva B. Brown Eckman; their children, son & daughter-in-law; Bruce & Sandra Eckman of Troy, OH; daughters & sons-in-law; Loretta & Rich Bufa of Buffalo, NY; and Marilyn & David Kumpf of Buffalo, NY; brother & sister-in-law; Eugene & Hildagard Eckman of Florida. Also there are nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Kelly and one sister, Velva. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shrine Temple and Trinity Presbyterian Church, Fairhope, Alabama. He retired from General Motors Tonawanda, NY Engine Plant. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 from 5-8PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Mike Eiras officiating the service. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
