Linda L. Shuman, age 71, of Troy, passed away on December 16, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital.  She was born on February 15, 1950 in Piqua to the late John Kerrigan and Elsie (Ceyler) Berg.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Tia and Jason Maurer of Liberty Township; son: Todd Shuman of Troy; and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Everett Shuman and brother: Michael Kerrigan.

Linda was a 1968 graduate of Troy High School.  She also received her cosmetology degree and was an Avon representative for many years.  Linda was a longtime member of Corvette - Troy.  She was very active with the local veterans and organized the Fourth of July parade in Troy for many years.  Linda was also a board member of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum.  She was the type of person who would do anything for anyone.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
