Linda M. Scott, age 64, of Troy, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on July 22, 1948 in Troy, Ohio to the late Estell and Norma Shaffer Lewis. She was married to Richard T. "Mutt" Scott who preceded her in death on October 25, 2010. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Ross Steggemann and Chris Steggemann of Troy; sons and daughter-in-law, Tim and Rhonda Ross of Troy and Brian Ross all of Troy; brother, Jim Lewis of Troy; and grandchildren, Caleb and Hannah Steggemann, Zachary Ross, and Jacob and Hayden Ross. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Miami East High School. She was a member of the Troy View Church of God and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion No. 586. Linda retired in 2009 from ITW in Troy. Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Pastor Dan Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Troy View Church of God.
