Lilliard Moore Lee, 73, of Troy, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2022.
Lilliard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon (Hinkle) Lee, son: Michael Lee and daughter: Rachel Lee-Stafford, four grandchildren: Sarah Schwent, Emilee Schwent, Joshua Watson, Austin Lee, one great-grandchild: Noah Johnson, brother: Johnny Lee and sister: Mary (Lee) Marino, and his little trucking partner: Wolfie Lee.
He was proceeded in death by his father: John Lee, mother: Elizabeth (Elmore) Lee, sisters: Ruby Lee, Lola Watkins, Carolyn Knox, Katherine Perkins and Amelia Buchanan; brothers: James Lee and AW Lee.
Lilliard was a Vietnam Veteran SGT E5. He was an over the road truck driver for 40 years, there are not many places he has not been. He also worked at Progress Farms for Mike Elsner for 7 years. He loved to tell stories of his travels and people he had the pleasure of meeting along the way. He enjoyed being outdoors, walking his dog, Wolfie, spending time at the Troy Fish and Game, music and dancing at family gatherings and he always enjoyed being around his family and friends. He had a major sweet tooth and could not get enough cookies, Mountain Dew and ice cream – all with a side of Coffee, don't forget the two packs of sugar.
Lilliard loved the Lord and always wanted to make sure his family and friends knew the Lord so he would see them again someday.
Lilliard (Double L) will be incredibly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. See ya soon Old Man!
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
