Lillian Graef passed away January 25, 2017 at the age of 94.  She was born January 5, 1923 to Charles and Caroline (Roecker) Sauffer in Piqua, OH.  She was married to Richard "Dick" Graef on February 26, 1955.  She is survived by her brother: John Sauffer of Indianapolis, IN; and nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Richmond High School (Indiana) in June 1941.  She later moved to Troy and went to work for General Motors Corporation Aeroproducts Division (Vandalia) and Inland Division (Dayton) until retiring in April 1982.  Following retirement, she was employed at Van Cleve School for 5 years.  She was co-owner of the Cardinal Paperback Exchange store in downtown Troy for 9 years.  She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.

She and Dick loved to travel both overseas and in the U.S.  They were members of St. John's United Church of Christ.

There will be no visitation.  Burial will be in Troy Riverside Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
