Lester H. Lammers is survived by his wife of 70 years, Izola Sphar; a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Duncan Trout; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lammers, Charles and Nancy Lammers; two grandchildren, Robin and husband, Wayne Taylor,Jesse and wife, Dixie Gormley; one great grandchild, Michelle Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Christina Geyer Lammers.  He was the seventh of 14 children with two brothers and three sisters surviving.

Mr. Lammers served as a S. Sgt. in the US Army, WWII in the Pacific; was wounded receiving a Purple Heart and 3 clusters.  He retired in 1974 from Hobart Manufacturing after 37 years.

Mr. Lammers will be buried at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Contributions may be made to donors favorite charity.
