Lester Eugene DeWeese Lester Eugene DeWeese, age 91, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 11:10AM on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Troy Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 30, 1921 in Troy, to the late Marvin and Lelia Morris DeWeese. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Donnal Taynor of Troy; nieces and nephews: Jacquelyn Chris Smallenbarger, Darrell Nikki Taynor, and Jane Marcus Foster; and great nieces and nephews: Kirsten and Jacob Smallenbarger, Chelsie Roemisch, Dalton and Dillon Taynor, and Dominique, Kaylee, and Savana Foster. In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by one great-nephew, Nicholas Taynor. He was a graduate of Staunton Schools. He was a US Army Veteran, and attended the Casstown United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Bow Tie Club and he enjoyed being with family and shopping. Lester was formerly employed with Hobart Corp. and Hobart Brothers, JC Penney, and Elder Beerman and he worked until he was 90 years old. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio with Veterans Memorial Honor Guard at the graveside. Friends may call from 2-5PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
