Leroy Jeff Crawford, age 79 of Troy died Sunday, February 3, 2002 at Harborside Healthcare Center, Troy. Preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Francis and Era Crawford; his wife, Ruth Coppess Crawford; sister, Joan Patrick; brother, Charles F. Crawford; his grandparents who raised him, Laura and Jeff Highley. He is survived by his son, Gary Lee Crawford; sisters, Jean Sturgen and Gloria Stoltz; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many good friends. Mr. Crawford was a US Army veteran serving in WWII and was the owner and operator of the Kozy Kitchen in Troy for 30 years.
