Leona Evelyn "Peggy" Sloan, age 67, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2012 at her residence. She was born on October 7, 1944 in Troy, to the late George Frederick and Leona Evelyn Mauley Sloan. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tyra Manson, Jr. of Arkansas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Peggy Louise and Doug Ishmael of Troy and Regina Lea Daniel of West Milton, Ohio; two sisters, Bessie Jo Board and Patricia Ann Slough both of Troy; five grandchildren Jheramy Andress, Keith Flory Jr., Joseph Flory, John Daniel Jr., and Jacob Daniel; and one great-granddaughter, Skyler Andress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Penny Jo Manson Flory in 2011; one sister, Emma Jean Dow; and three brothers: Fred F. Sloan, George F. Sloan, Jr., and William Sloan. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. She formerly worked as an LPN with Midwest Nursing and formerly worked for Miami County MRDD. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00AM on May 23, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating.
