Leona Frances Glassmeyer Leona Frances Glassmeyer, age 72, of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away at 7:40AM on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. She was born on December 4, 1939 in Clay Township, Ohio to the late Harold and Pearl McCoy Engleman. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Francis Glassmeyer. Other survivors include her four children: Susan Max Current of Troy, Diane Glassmeyer of California, Kelly Todd Emrick of Troy, and Robert Glassmeyer of Tipp City; one sister, Joyce Mike Braun of Genoa, Ohio; one brother, Chuck Rosie Engleman of Genoa, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Jake Current, Ashley and Trina Current, Brandon, Dustin and Todd Jr. Emrick, and Levi Glassmeyer; and one great-grandchild, Tristan Emrick. In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Engleman. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and a homemaker. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with interment in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
