Lela E. Clawson Lela E. Clawson, age 96, of Casstown, Ohio, passed away at 10:35PM on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on September 27, 1912 in Miami County, Ohio, to the late Charles H. and Maude Morgan Clawson. Survivors include five nieces: Pamela Clawson of Casstown, Ohio, Charlene Hartzell of Greenville, Ohio, Marilyn Henry of Greenfield, Ohio, Susan Swartz of Florida and Nancy Hampton of Arizona; and four nephews: Jack Mary Lee Clawson of Troy, Ohio, Joe Darlene Clawson of Covington, Ohio, Gary Clawson of Kettering, Ohio and Montie Sharon Clawson of Vandalia, Ohio. In addition to her parents, Lela was preceded in death by two sisters: Juanita Hiles and Wilda Macintosh; three brothers: Royce, Horace and Herbert Clawson; one niece, Judy Francis and one nephew, Dick Bowman. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Minster, Ohio. Lela formerly owned and operated Lela's Beauty Shop in Dayton and retired after 29 years of services at Troy Sunshade, Plant 27. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio, with Pastor Ray Horton officiating.
