Le Oma Potter Le Oma Potter, 89, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 12 noon on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born January 22, 1918 in Clintwood, VA, to the late John and Flora Baker Reed. She married Isaac V. Potter who preceded her in death in 1975. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Isaac John and Norma Potter of Tipp City, OH, Jim and Linda Potter of Troy, OH, Bill and Chris Potter of Troy, and Gerry and Valerie Potter of Las Vegas, NV; daughter and sons-in-law: Janet and Whitey Allen of Dayton, OH and Bob Parkerson of Palmer, Alaska; sister, Jane Shade of Belglade, FL; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Potter was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Parkerson, three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of New Horizon Church of God in Troy and she loved to help others. Mrs. Potter worked at Troy Sun Shade, Home Care and Braun Brothers Meat Packing. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Monday, October 15, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor Jeff Seekens of Community Bible Church, Tipp City, officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 2-5PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Troy Christian Schools.
