Lawrence D. McKenny, 69, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on January 10, 1936 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Lawrence D. and Frances Mikoljewski McKenny Sr. He is survived by his children, son, Robert McKenny of Powell, OH; daughters & son-in-law; Julia L. & Sheldon Eernisse of Troy, OH; Cindy Rowe of Troy, OH and Sandy Dame of Troy, OH. Also he has brothers & sister-in-laws; Charles & Sharon McKenny of Kettering, OH; Thomas & Joyce McKenny of Middletown, OH; sisters & brothers-in-law; Marilyn & Gene Zientara of Rush, New York; and Carolyn & Darrell Root of Middletown, OH. He has ten grandchildren, Nicole; Michael; Tiffany; Chelsea; Jason; Zach; Tarrah; Justin; Zane and Nathan. Also he has three great-grandchildren, Aaron; Austin; and Haley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Fr. Richard McKenny. He was a member of St. Patrick Catolic Church, Troy, Ohio. He was a graduate of Troy High School and attended the University of Dayton. He retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, January 15, 2005 @ 10:00am at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 409 E. Main Street, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Visitatin will be at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio on Friday, January 14, 2005 from 2-4 & 6-8Pm. There will be a special Rosary Service at 7:30pm on Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity. Lawrence was a extremely Avid Golfer; a family Oriented and loved his grandkids. He was dearly loved by all.
