Lawrence E. Hawn Lawrence E. Hawn, age 90, of Troy, Ohio, died at 10:53PM on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at Harborside Health Care Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born on September 24, 1918 in Clark County, Ohio, to the late Everett and Bertha Mae Johnson Hawn. He was married to Tillie Wood Hawn for 57 years before she passed away on October 31, 2004. He is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Betty Hawn of Centerville, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law: June and Harold Gheen and Barbara and Roger Argabright all of Troy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Irvin and Grace Ann Carlier of Blanchester, Ohio, and Samuel and Phyllis Wood, Gerald and Elizabeth Lovins and Lillian Baker all of Somerset, Kentucky; and many loving nieces and nephews including Pamela and Larry Vore. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother, Clarence Hawn in 1990. Mr. Hawn worked at Borden's for 13 years and went on to work at Kroger's Dairy in Cincinnati for 29 years, retiring with 42 years of working on February 26, 1983. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with interment to follow at New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Ohio.
