LAUREN BETH BODEY

Lauren Beth Bodey, age 30, formerly of Troy, more recently of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in Fairborn, OH.  She was born on June 20, 1983 in Dallas, TX to Ronald A. and Brenda L. (Smart) Bodey, of Troy.

In addition to her parents, Lauren is survived by two brothers: Peter Thomas Bodey, and his fiancé: Krystal Behnken, of Kettering and Michael Kinsinger Bodey and his wife, Laura, of Cincinnati; paternal grandmother: Janet Bodey, of Zephyrhills, FL; maternal grandparents: Robert and Janice Smart, of Durham, NC; maternal great grandmother: Mildred Kimmell, of Sebring, FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Wallace Bodey.

Lauren was a 2001 graduate of Troy Christian High School.  She also attended Edison State College and Sinclair College before graduating from Kaplan College.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Gregory Perry officiating.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH.  Friends and family may call from 5 – 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
