Laura Jean Grove, age 97, formerly of Troy, OH and more recently of Ansonia, OH passed away on October 10, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on June 17, 1925, in Miami County, OH to the late Charles Henry and Dollie Irene (Ginn) Vannoy.

Laura is survived by her daughter: Denise Grove and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years: Merril V. Grove; sister: Edna Ellen Scarff; infant brother: Melvin; and nephew: Michael Scarff.

She was a graduate of Lost Creek High School.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy and a member of Eastern Star.  Laura loved gardening and being with family, friends and her animals.  She worked for DP & L and sold real estate for Grove Realty for a number of years.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH with Rev. Dr. Chris Heckaman officiating.
