Laura Davis, age 77, of Troy, OH passed away on January 18, 2025.  She was born on June 20, 1947 in Troy to the late Robert Melvin and Jane (Russell) Melvin.

She is survived by her four children: Charles (Penny Etherington) Davis of Troy; Melissa (Floyd Newton) Newberg of Piqua; Holly (Dwight) Snyder of Troy; and Wally (Michelle Wintrow) Davis of Piqua and seven grandchildren: Alec, Brittany, Davin, Hallie, Brent, Devin and Gabby and two great grandchildren: Maia and Elias.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather: Harvey L. Cashdollar.

She was a graduate of Troy High School.  She was a former member of the Troy Eagles, Moose and Redmen's.  She was formerly employed with Hobart Brothers Company and Wrays Enterprise/ARC Document Services. Laura enjoyed gambling and playing bingo.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the funeral home.
