Larry "LeRoy" Thase, 61, of Dayton, Ohio and formerly of Troy, Ohio, died suddenly Monday, March 27, 2006 at 11:00pm at his residence. He was born July 31, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul Henry and Lois Jean Thirkield Thase Perry. He is survived by two children, son, Rodney Scott of Sidney, Ohio and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Scott of Sidney, Ohio; brothers & sisters-in-law; Paul & Jackie Thase of Casstown, Ohio; Frank & Connie Thase of St. Paris, Ohio; nieces, Amy Thase of Piqua, Ohio; Nikki and her husband, Daron King of Bellefontaine, Ohio; great nieces, Betsy and Darian King and very special friend, Betty. He attended Troy High School. He was a former machinist at Do-Rite Machine Shop. He enjoyed NASCAR and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Friends may call on the family, Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 5-7pm at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at 7:30pm at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Mike Hoppe officiating.
