Larry L. Snider Larry L. Snider, age 66, of Troy, Ohio, passed away suddenly at 2:37PM on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born on March 19, 1943 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Stanley Edward and Grace Collier Snider. His wife of 47 years, Ruth Ann Hill Snider, survives. Other survivors include his three children: Stanley and Marge Snider of Put-in-Bay, Liza and James DeBoard of New Carlisle, Ohio and James and Lisa Snider of Troy; three sisters: Viola Thompson of Franklin, Ohio, Marcina Welch of Florida and Delores Burke of Middletown, Ohio; one brother: Edwin Snider of Carlisle, Ohio; six grandchildren: Craig Snider, Betty Snider, Stanley Snider Jr., Mathew DeBoard, Elizabeth Snider and Sara Snider; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one sister, Priscilla and one brother, Melvin. He was a graduate of Franklin High School. He was a member of the Moose, Eagles, Troy Fish & Game, Redman and Pace International Union. Larry retired in 2005 from IVEX in Troy after 43 years of service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, January 11, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Mike Calhoun of the First Church of God, Troy, officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 1-4:00PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
