Larry W. Smallenbarger, age 87, of Troy, OH passed away on February 10, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on February 11, 1934 in Troy, OH to the late Parker and Frances (Kline) Smallenbarger.

Larry is survived by his children: Susan Brumfield, Connie (Doug) Hess and Keith Smallenbarger; grandchildren: Steven (Kim) Brumfield, Jennifer Mangen, Johnathan (Cleo) Hess, Christine (Thomas) Jacquemin, Sarah Hess, Lindsay Smallenbarger and Brady Smallenbarger; great grandchildren: Carley, Macy, Landry, Max, Preston, Brooklyn and Oakley and great great granddaughter: Ella Rae.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years: Doris E. (Mott) Smallenbarger; brother: David Smallenbarger; son-in-law: Harold Brumfield and great grandson: Jude.

Larry was a 1952 graduate of Troy High School.  He served his country in the US Navy.  He retired from Hobart Corporation after many years of service and was a member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club.

Larry was a longtime active member of the First United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed mowing lawns and looking after the church properties.  Most of all, he was an avid football fan and loved attending all the kids sporting events.

Services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM – 1:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
