Larry Thomas Moore, 68, of Troy, Ohio died on Friday, November 03, 2006 at the Dayton Heart Hospital, Dayton, Ohio after a lengthy illness. He was born on June 16, 1938 in Hardy, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Mary Ellen Myers Moore. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lois L. Dotson Moore; daughter, Sherry Lee Moore Smith of Troy, OH; four sisters, Wanda Oney of Plymouth, MI; Bernice Macier of Florida; Wennis Boggs of Toledo and Ethel Thomson of Alabama; four grandchildren, Krystal Lee Smith; Melanie Nicole Smith; Nathan Thomas Smith; Jesse Lee Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters. He graduated from Belfry High School in Belfry, Kentucky where he played linebacker of their football team. He worked Maintenance at Tube Products for 27 years and then retiring from Takata Corp. in Piqua, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. James T. Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family, Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 3-7PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. He loved to camp and fish and he will be greatly missed. He will be remembered as a loving and kind father and grandfather.
