Larry E. Becker, age 84, of Troy, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  He was born on December 10, 1937, in Casstown to the late John Becker, Jr. and Doris (Kessler) Bright.

Larry is survived by his wife of 40 years: Shirley (Smith) Becker; one son: L. Anthony (Terri) Becker of Tipp City; step daughter: Amy Holden of Troy; step son: Doug Holden of Louisville, CO; sister: Melanie (Herb) Childers; two daughters-in-law: Debra Friend and Cynthia Holloway; three grandchildren: Lucas Becker, Emily Becker and Riley Becker; nephew: Lee Baker; and niece: Gail Koverman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter: Eileen C. Becker.

Larry was a 1955 graduate of Miami Central High School.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Air Force.  Larry was a 30+ year member of Troy Elks #833 B.P.O.E..  He was employed by DuBois & Texo Industrial for 40 years in chemical sales.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on July 29, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on July 29, 2022 at the funeral home.
