Kurt Edward Gignac, age 71, of Dayton, OH, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on August 30, 1951 in Lansing, MI to the late Russell and Peggy Brandt.

Kurt is survived by his sons: Matt (Jody) Gignac of Troy and Joshua (Jessica) Gignac of Fenton, MI; and grandchildren: Josalyn and Jillian Gignac.  In addition to his parents, Kurt is preceded in death by his brothers: Tom Mull and Gregory Koebke; and best friend: Jim Schaeffer.

Kurt was the owner of Mid State Hi-Lift. He frequented Ned Peppers Bar in Dayton, where you could find him in his designated stool entertaining friends with stories, humor, and quick wit.
