Kody Leroy Miller, age 30, of Piqua, OH, passed away on June 6, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born on May 1, 1996 in Piqua to the late Gary A. and Vicki Ann Miller.
Kody is survived by siblings: Elizabeth (David Busse) Miller and Brandon Miller; nephews: Carter and Koen Busse; niece: Ameerah Miller; fiancé: Cheyenne North, her daughter: Adley Wintrow; and cousin: Tonya McCarty.
In addition to his parents, Kody was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents: Herman and Barbara (Knisley) Miller.
Kody lived life with a free spirit and a heart full of love. He found joy in the simple things—fishing, swimming, bridge jumping, exploring the mountains, taking long car rides, and listening to music with the windows down. He never passed up an opportunity for an adventure and was always ready to make a memory with the people he loved.
Some of Kody's happiest memories were made during dance parties with his sister, where laughter came easily and time seemed to stand still. He loved dogs, loved making people laugh, and had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories that would be cherished forever. Kody gave the very best hugs; warm, genuine, and full of love. Being wrapped in one of his hugs made you feel safe, cared for, and instantly at home.
More than anything, Kody loved his family. He was a devoted fiancé, a proud and loving uncle, and the kind of brother whose presence brought comfort, fun, and unconditional love. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. He loved showing off his cooking skills and took great pride in preparing meals for the people he loved. Anyone who knew Kody also knew of his love for pickles, he was always stealing pickle juice and eating pickles whenever he got the chance, a quirky habit that became one of the many things those closest to him will always remember with a smile.
Though his time here was far too short, the impact he made on those who loved him will last forever. Kody's adventurous spirit, infectious smile, his unforgettable hugs, and the love he shared so freely will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered every day.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Troy. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
