Kittie S. Rickerson Kittie S. Rickerson, age 85, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 7:10PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born on August 9, 1926 in Tuscumbia, Alabama to the late Robert and Mabel Dickson McVey. Her husband, George J. Rickerson, preceded her in death on December 8, 1977. She is survived by her daughter, Sueann Fox of Troy; son, Kenneth Rickerson of St. Simon Island, Georgia; three grandchildren: James M. Fox, Jeffery M. Fox and Lesley M. Rickerson; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Kittie was preceded in death by her brother, Robert McVey. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. She worked in management at the Holiday Inn, doing a little bit of everything, and retired in 1979. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating.
