Kim Warren Decker, 46, of Plano, Texas and formerly of Troy, Ohio passed away at his residence on February 7, 2004. He was born on August 30, 1957 in Wilmington, Delaware to Warren F. and Shirley Jane Gunn Decker. He is survived by Sister and Brother-in-law: Lynn and Ray Brentlinger of Elkton, MD; Brother and Sister-in-law: Jeffrey and Barbara Decker of Cranberry Twp., PA; Sister and Brother-in-law: Nancy Decker Currie and Dave Currie of Houston, TX. Also several nieces and nephews. He coached Masters swimming at the Signature Club in Dallas, Texas, he also participated in the Masters swim team of Dallas, Texas, he was USA Triathlon official and was a volunteer with United Way. Kim graduated from Troy High School in Troy, Ohio and he attended Wright State University in Fairborn, Ohio and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He was employed with JCPenney Corporation, Plano, Texas. The Rev. Dr. Richard Culp of the First Presbyterian Church in Troy, Ohio will be officiating the service. Contributions may be made to the Kim Decker Scholarship Fund, in care of Fifth Third Bank, 1851 West Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
