Kenny R. Plantz, age 56, of Troy, OH died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at his residence. He was born August 3, 1951, the son of Kimpton L. and Beatrice King Plantz who preceded him in death. Survivors include three children, Jonny, Jeremy, and Melissa; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda S. and Jerry D. Chaney of Troy, OH; Phyllis J. and Billy M. Chaney of Tipp City, OH; Patricia A. and Stephen J. Clutter of Troy, OH; Sheila S. and David L. Ault of Arkansas; Karen K. Fisher of Troy, OH and Sharon R. Smith of Troy, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by one sister, Jane L. Stapleton. Kenny was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy, OH and served in the US Marine Corp. He was past owner/operator of J.R. Vinyl Siding Company and a self-employed carpenter. Funeral service will be held 10:30AM Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with Rev. Dale Christian officiating. Burial will take place in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.
