Kenneth J. Warner, age 68, of Troy, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord and his family and friends on Saturday, October 9, 2010. He was born November 29, 1941 in Covington, Ohio to the late Kenneth L. Warner and Mildred Sotell Warner. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dixie L. Manson Warner; his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth James and Faith Warner of Troy, Ohio; daughters, Pamela M. Scherer of Covington, Ohio and Lisa A. Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Rolland E. Warner of Trotwood, Ohio; grandchildren, Nikkia Warner of Covington, Ohio, Heather Rake of Troy, Ohio, Kristal Warner of Troy, Ohio, Kenneth Jeffrey Warner of Berne, Indiana, Lindsey Scherer of Piqua, Ohio, MacKenzi Scherer of Covington, Ohio, Jonathan L. Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jordan W. Jones of Cincinnati, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Justice, Mason, Triston, Abigayle, Carmen, Madilynn, and EmaLee; and mother-in-law, Mildred Manson of Troy, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Mullins and father-in-law, James L. Manson. Kenneth attended Covington Schools and was a graduate of Troy High School. He was a member of the Hobart Quarter Century Club; attended First Baptist Church, Troy; enjoyed nature; being with his family; and listening to music. He was retired from Hobart Corporation in 1996 and then retired from Ohio CAT in 2005. He will be greatly missed and he will forever be our Fonz. A funeral service will be held 10:30AM Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
