Kenneth E. Gross Kenneth E. Gross, age 90, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Troy, Ohio passed away at 7:35AM on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Southbrook Care Center, Springfield. He was born on July 4, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Everett Arthur and Bertha Helen White Gross. His wife, H. Maxine Ely Gross, survives. Other survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth David and Sarah Beth Gross of South Bend, Indiana; daughter, Brenda Ciribassi of Troy, Ohio; brother, Paul Marvin Gross of Oregon; grandchildren: John David Gross, Sarah Jane Gross Gowin, Kimberley Gross and Heather Ciribassi-St. Mary. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by brothers: Homer, Howard and Arthur Gross and sisters: Charlotte Moist, Mary Elizabeth Calicoat and Dorothy Bucholtz. He attended Tipp City Schools and was a WWII Army Veteran. He was a member of Casstown Lutheran Church and attended Casstown United Methodist Church. Kenneth retired from Hobart Brothers Co. and had previously worked with Frigidaire in Dayton and the Farm Bureau. A graveside service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio with Paul Gross officiating. Military honors will take place at the graveside.
