KENNETH EDWARD "ED" FULKERSON

Kenneth Edward "Ed" Fulkerson, age 77, of Troy, OH passed away surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on March 16, 1938 in Xenia, OH to the late Kenneth E. and Sarah (Rumbaugh) Fulkerson.

Ed is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann (Thorn); daughters and sons-in-law:  Kathy Fulkerson, Karen and John Holt, Cindy and Barry Dwayne Geer; son and daughter-in-law:  John and Melanie Fulkerson; brother and sister-in-law:  Phillip and Carolyn Fulkerson; seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous step great grandchildren and extended family.

Ed was very active in the community.  He served at First Presbyterian Church of Troy as a Stephen Minister, worked on mission trips and taught Sunday school.  He also volunteered with the food pantry and Partners in Hope.  He was a retired mechanical engineer.  Ed was well known for his great sense of humor and his infamous popcorn making skills.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church, 20 South Walnut Street, Troy with the Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Sunday at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
