IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kelly Ann
Mott
July 29, 1973 – August 19, 2022
Kelly Ann Mott, age 49, passed away peacefully at Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek, Friday morning, August 19, 2022, after fighting severe medical issues for over a year.
Kelly is survived by her son, Braden Dellinger and his wife Bekah; her parents, Nick and Darlene Mott; her sister, Deanna Mott Toombs (Michael) and Deanna's children: Zackary Pogue (Casey and daughter Charlie); Derrick Caruso; Grace Caruso, and Deanna's sister Jessye Studer. She is also survived by many friends, including Debbie McMains, and her cherished cat Sneaky.
Kelly was an amazing and talented person! She graduated from Miami East High School in 1991. She was a Cheerleader in Jr. High; Baton Majorette in High School; and was active in 4H. She regularly participated in cooking competitions and showed dairy goats at the Miami County Fair.
She earned an Associate's Degree from Edison College in Business Management in 2014, and a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Management and Lean Manufacturing from DeVry University in 2016. She had a prosperous career in manufacturing: prior to her health issues in 2021 she worked as a Quality Engineering Technician at FRAM Group in Greenville, Ohio.
Kelly had a passion for helping others. She organized an annual Christmas Present Drive for Needy Children in Greenville. She loved baking for her friends and neighbors, and she always looked after others in need. Kelly had great respect for veterans in honor of her father's and grandfathers' U.S. military service. She served on the Trustee Board of the Miami Valley Veterans Museum in the early years of its organization.
Kelly loved riding Harleys with her friends, and actively attended the events of local motorcycle organizations. She was always the life of the party, and loved to sing along with the jukebox – especially Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.
Kelly was united with her biological family in 2018 and was blessed to share her life with her birth father, Brian Schrubb and his wife, Debbie, and his daughter Tracy Maxhimer. Unfortunately Kelly's birth mother Lorelei had passed in 2016. Kelly is survived by her mother's siblings: Bradley Brown and Polly Moore.
Kelly has grieved the loss of her true love and cherished husband, Darrell "Blue" Reliford since 2001, and is now living her dream of being with him again.
The family wants to thank Ohio Hospice and the entire Staff at Soin for their loving care of Kelly. We also are thankful for the outpouring of love from so many!
