Kathleen M. (Althoff) Detrick, age 100, of Troy, OH passed away on October 8, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on December 19, 1921 in Yorkshire, OH to the late Herman and Agnes (Schilling) Althoff.

She is survived by her son: David Detrick of Greenville, SC; daughters and sons-in-law:  Kathy and Tim Galbreath of Troy, OH and Jeanne and Bob Butler of Scottsdale, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse of 53 years of marriage: Dale E. Detrick and her sisters: Ruth Oliver, Ruby Kuckherman, Eileen Mendenhall, Betty Rhoades, Evelyn Earhart and Phyllis Althoff.

She was a graduate of Versailles High School.  She became a licensed cosmetologist and was a beautician with her sister at Ruby's Beauty Salon in Tipp City.  She was member of the First Lutheran Church in Troy.

She was a loving wife and mother.  The joy of Kathleen's giving nature shined through in helping others.  Her 100 years of love and wisdom will be missed by all she has touched.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on October 20, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with interment to follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington, OH.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on October 20, 2022, at the funeral home.
