Katherine L. Storer Katherine L. Storer, age 90, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 11:49PM on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. She was born on March 4, 1919 in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Alva and Corda Knisley Lyons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard C. Storer, on November 30, 2008 and her brother, Austin Lyons of Medway. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Lowell and Carol Storer of Ludlow Falls, Ohio and John and Jill Storer of Carrollton, Georgia; and grandchildren: Shaun Autumne, Erin, and Brandon Storer. She is also survived by her nephews. Mrs. Storer was a member of the Union Baptist Church, Troy Grandmother's Club, Farmers Garden Club, and the Extension Club of St. Paris. She was active in teaching children's classes, doing craft things, and craft shows. She also volunteered at Brukner Nature Center and Carriage Hill Farm. She was formerly employed with Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, August 21, 2009 at Honeycreek Cemetery, Christiansburg, Ohio, with Rev.
