Karlon K. Staten, age 42, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  He was born on August 7, 1975 in Troy, OH.

Karlon is survived by his mother and stepfather: Kathy (Partin) and Bruce Pitsenbarger of Troy; father and stepmother: Carl Kent and Tracy Staten of Troy; daughter: Morgan Marker of Piqua; sons: Brandon and Quinton of Troy; grandchildren: Nova, Wyatt, Amelia and Owen; brothers: Jesse (Michelle) Staten of Covington and Zachery Staten of Troy; sister: Amy Smith of Troy; stepbrother: Dallas Manier of Troy; stepsister: Destiny Manier of Troy; stepgrandmother: Shirley Pitsenbarger of Versailles and numerous extended family members.

Karlon was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Karlon attended Troy City Schools.  He loved to build things with his hands and was a former member of the Carpenter's Union.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-2:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to benefit Karlon's grandchildren in care of the family.
