Karen A. Wagner Karen A. Wagner, 66, of Casstown, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at her residence. She was born February 27, 1941, in Troy, Ohio, to the late David Russell and Ethel Marie Snyder Shoop. She was married to James H. Wagner who preceded her in death on April 22, 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Jackie Wagner of Conover, Ohio; daughter, Lisa J. Wagner Mudrick of New Jersey; sisters and brother-in-law: Nancy Lauber of Troy, Ohio and Janet and Paul Hufford of Texas; and four grandchildren: Whitney and Blane Wagner and Joseph and Alex Mudrick. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her brother, George E. Shoop and sisters, Emma Jean Conrad, Billie Frances Harper and Katy Gilliam. She was a graduate of Miami East High School and later attended Richard Weston School of Beauty Culture. Mrs. Wagner was a member of the Casstown United Methodist Church, Casstown, Ohio. She enjoyed many years of 4-H sewing and also enjoyed making floral arrangements. From her home, Mrs. Wagner owned and operated the Herb and Craft Connection. She was employed by Elliots Nursery and Fulton Farms. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, November 25, 2007, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Jimmie Fulton officiating. Interment will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH. Friends may call from 6-8PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Medical Center, Dayton, Ohio.
