Karen Ann Sparks, age 75, of Troy, OH passed away on July 30, 2021 at SpringMeade Health Care Center, Tipp City, OH.  She was born on September 19, 1945 in Cleveland, OH to the late Fred A. Henning and Helen Bertha (Tomko) Henning.

Karen is survived by her children: Wendy Borst of Franklin, TN and Scott Sparks of Troy, OH; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and niece: Cheryl (Winston) Ostrow.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Agnes and Gayle.

Karen was a nature lover and enjoyed hiking and spending time at her special place, Indian Lake.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and a giving friend.  Karen was a proud supporter of all her grandchildren's sporting and band activities.  She was surrounded by loved ones in her final days as she made a peaceful homecoming.

Private Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
