Karen K. Shilt, age 76, of Troy, Ohio passed away at her home on February 5, 2025. She was born on June 4, 1948 in Troy to the late Harry and Irene (Drum) Schaeffer.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years of marriage: Charles E. Shilt; her son: Bryan Shaw of Georgia; daughter: Alissa (Kevin) Moore of Tipp City; siblings: Jane (Roger) Schwierking of Wyoming, Roger (Tina Bruner) Schaeffer of Troy, Ron (Teresa) Schaeffer of Christiansburg; six grandchildren: Chelsea (Xavier Brown) Shaw, Corinne (Nick) Antonides, Clayton Shaw, Michael Moore, David (Kacey) Moore and Rachael (Evan) Pemberton and nine great grandchildren: Zoey Steinke, Damian Steinke, Aria Gee, Azalea Moore, Lakelyn Moore, Onyx Moore, Lyllian Pemberton, Eleanor Pemberton and Titus Pemberton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother: Robert Schaeffer.

Karen was a graduate of Graham High School. She was formerly employed with AO Smith and retired after many years with Speedway.

Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
