Karen Winifred Moyer, 58, of Troy, Ohio died at her residence on May 14, 2006 after a brief illness. She was born November 18, 1947 in Carrolton, Ohio to Elmer and Winona Moyer. She is survived by her husband, John Moyer, son, Joshua Welling of Ventura, California; nephew, Michael Moyer, Niece, Cindy Mannich and great niece, Madalyn Moyer all of Canton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Moyer. She attended First United Methodist Church, Troy and was a member of the Photo Society at Edison State Community College, serving as treasurer and administrative director of the club. She received her degree from Canton/Aultman Nursing School. She retied as a Registered Orthopedic Nurse. A Memorial service will be held on June 11, 2006 at 2:00PM at the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Mike Hoppe officiating. Family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Photo Society of Edison Community College; Wright State School of Medicine and Hospice of Miami Co. She donated her body for medical science to Wright State School of Medicine.
