Karen S. Hawkins, age 79, of Sidney, OH passed away on July 16, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy.  She was born on July 6, 1944 in Troy, OH to the late Guy and Dorothy (Pike) Baker.

Karen is survived by three sons: Timothy Evans of Sidney, OH, Randy Evans and Dean Evans both of Piqua, OH; daughters: Angela Hohlbein and Jodell Wehrley both of Piqua, OH; stepson: Kenny Hawkins of Oak Hill, WV; stepdaughters: Jessica Iiames of Wheeling, WV, Billie Jane Price of Edmund, WVA and Laura Ables of High Coat, WV; one brother: Richard Baker of Troy, OH; 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years: Billie L. Hawkins in 2020; siblings: Earl Baker, William Baker, Robert Baker, Linda Gephart and Janet Cox.

Karen loved bingo, fishing and playing cards.  Above all else, she loved spending time with her family.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Baird Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Baker officiating.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
