Karen Sue Calicoat, age 66, of Troy, OH, passed away on April 21, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on September 29, 1954 in Troy to the late Harold and Mary (Curtis) Durst.

Karen is survived by her husband of 45 years: Mike Calicoat of Troy; children: Monte (Lia Price) Calicoat of Cincinnati, OH, Micki Jo (Jason) Hitchcock of Covington, Melissa (Zach) Francis of Troy, Michala (Tyler) Harris of Troy, and Mikey (Sam Johnston) Calicoat of Troy; sisters: Valerie (Chuck) Carver of Casstown and Pam Webb of New Carlisle; and grandchildren: Zach Hitchcock, Zoey Hitchcock, Austin Francis, Alexa Hitchcock, Kaige Calicoat, Blake Calicoat, Konor Getter, Brayden Calicoat, Colton Calicoat, Michael Harris, and Bentley Calicoat.

Karen was an owner and coach of Rainbow Gymnastics Academy and Sports Training Center. She loved kids, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed helping everybody. Karen and her husband attended First United Church of Christ in Troy.
