(Smith) Brumbaugh
October 5, 1932 – July 2, 2014
June L. (Smith) Brumbaugh, age 81, passed onto Heaven July 2 nd , 2014. She was a resident of Troy for 14 years, most recently Koester Pavilion, previously a longtime resident of Bradford. Her husband, Richard L. Brumbaugh, preceded her in death in 1984. June was the daughter of Stanley and Gladys Smith of Covington.
June is survived by one son: Rick (Cindy) Brumbaugh, Versailles: two daughters: Rhonda (Andrew) Terzuoli of Beavercreek and Robin (Bob) Fisher of Bradford; one brother: Richard Smith of Piqua; one sister: Marilyn (Nelson) Boyer of Troy; sisters-in-law: Ruby Cothran of Greenville, Janice Barga of Versailles and Marilyn Brumbaugh of Bradford. One sister Annette Reedy preceded her in death. June is also survived by seven Grandchildren: Dustin (Jill) Brumbaugh and Derick (Kim) Brumbaugh of Richmond, KY, Christine (Matthew) Minix of Dayton, Brandon (Heather) Fisher of Englewood, Jeremy Fisher of Vandalia and Abby and Emmalee Fisher of Bradford; three step grandchildren: Michael Johnston of Vicksburg, MI, Angela Liskovec of Battle Creek, MI, and Adam Perkins of Holland, MI; seven great grandchildren: Peyton, Lacey, Ethan and Evan Brumbaugh, Veronica Minix and Ellie and Cole Fisher, along with several step great grandchildren.
June graduated from Covington High School class of 1950. She married Richard Brumbaugh on August 10 th , 1950. She was a farmer's wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker for many years. Later in life she became a volunteer at UVMC. June was a longtime member of Christian Life Center in Dayton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Kevin Cordner officiating. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
