June Harellson, age 73, of Troy, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  She was born on June 2, 1945 in St. Helens, England to the late Cassil and Mary (Atherton) Lounsbury.

June is survived by daughter: Kristina Karshner of Lebanon, OH; granddaughter: Chelsea Gilliam of Newport, KY; sister and brother-in-law: Sandy and Chuck Metzner of Dayton, OH; Nieces:  Michelle Metzner and Angie (Scott) Hargett both of Dayton, OH; grandnephews: Casey, Aidan and Nick; and special friend: Ray Harellson of Troy, OH.

June was a graduate of Northridge High School.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy and Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter in Englewood.  June was a longtime former employee with Trojan Florist and Elder Beerman, and retired in 2016 after 27 years of service as an Executive Assistant with Upper Valley Medical Center.  She loved to read, bowl, play golf and had a hole in one at #16 Castle Hills, and was an avid Browns fan.

Service will be held at 7:00 PM on December 27, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will take place in Dayton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home with Eastern Star services.
