Judith Ann Bevans-Yates Judith Ann Bevans–Yates, age 64, of Bland, VA passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009. She was born March 7, 1944 in Springfield, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl Wilson and Gertrude Metz Yates. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Frees sister, Wilma Brock and daughter-in-law Teresia Gibbs. She is survived by two sons: Lester Eugene Frees of West Palm Beach, FL and Gary Lee Frees of Bland, VA; two daughters: Jeane K. Kirk of Rural Palm Beach, FL and Sondra Boardwine of Bland, VA; three brothers: David Earl Yates of Savannah, GA, Stephen Yates of Sidney, OH and Ed Yates of West Palm Beach, FL; three sisters: Audrey Meyer of Troy, OH, Jean Blair of West Palm Beach, FL and Linda Boardwine of Wytheville, VA; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday February 23, 2009 @ 2:00PM at Baird Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
