Judee D. Spring, age 85, of Troy, OH passed away on May 4, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County.  She was born on October 25, 1938 in Canton, OH to the late William J. and Vivian Louise (Willard) Diekmann.

She is survived by her daughter, Kandace Wilson of Tipp City; three grandchildren, Christopher (Marie) Wilson, Kaitlyn (Joshua) Barrere and Caroline Giermek; four great grandchildren, Braxton, Ruby, Finley and Ridley; brother, Peter (Diane) Diekmann of North Canton and brother-in-law: Bob Robertson of Culver, IN.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Spring and sister, Melanie Robertson.

She was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Troy.  She served as a children's Sunday School teacher and coordinated the Puppet Ministry for Teens Involved at the church.  She retired from Troy-Miami County Public Library and continued to volunteer with the puppet program.  She enjoyed making her own puppets, gardening and sharing her love of flowers with her grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County and if you are fortunate enough to still have your grandmother, give her a hug.
