Joyce Eileen Smith, age 80, of Bellbrook, OH passed away on May 8, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on December 3, 1944 in Richmond, IN to the late Ray A. and Viola May (Driver) Creager.

Joyce is survived by her husband: David F. Smith of Bellbrook, OH; children: Samuel Koehler of Tipp City, OH, Dana (Robert) Shaver of Loveland, OH, Julia (Matt) Cromwell of Troy, OH, and Grace (Michael) Smith-Heit of Beavercreek, OH; siblings: Kay Hoops of Centerville, OH, Sandra (Phil) Renner of Eaton, OH, Edith Biser of Union City, IN, Jerald (Linda) Creager of Eaton, OH, and Darlene (Phil) Dane of Eaton, OH; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her siblings: Ron Creager, Vera Fudge, Doris Spurr and Tom Creager.

Joyce graduated from Lanier High School, West Alexandria, OH and David Curtis School of Floral Design in Dayton, OH.  She worked as a floral designer/florist at Andy's Garden and Trojan Florist both of Troy, OH.  Joyce also was a Tech Assistant on cooking appliances with Whirlpool Corp.  She was a member of the Pilgrim UCC in St. Joseph, Michigan.

Services will be held at 5:00PM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Monday.
