Obituary

Jossie Helen Stout Browning, age 99, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 3:30AM Monday, October 15, 2007 at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. She was born November 26, 1907 in Barbour Co., W. Va, to the late Benjiman and Lora Radcliff Stout. She married Graydon Browning who preceded her in death in November of 1991. She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law: Norma Carver of Troy, Margaret and Earl Satterfield of Troy, and Wanda Stout of Colorado; one daughter-in-law, Anita Browning of Charlotte, NC; nine grandchildren: Bob Carver of Piqua, Lora Preston of Troy, Kim Stringer of Charlotte, NC, David Browning of Apex, NC, Steven Browning of Charlotte, NC, Rita Gibson of Troy, Paula Peppler of Ocala, FL, Belinda Bashore of Franklin, OH and Graydon Satterfield of Piqua; fifteen great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by four sisters: Blooma Carpenter, Olga Reed, Oval Crosier, and Myrtle Young; one brother, Harder Stout; one son, Paul David Browning; and one son-in-law, George Carver. She was a resident of Troy for 40+ years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Troy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, October 19, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with Pastor Brian Farr and Rev. Ed Ellis officiating. Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH. Friends may call from 6-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O.
