Joshua R. Magill, 13, of Piqua, died Oct. 26, 2000 at his residence.  Born April 13, 1987 in Troy, he is survived by his parents, Dave Magill and Krista Long Magill; his grandparents, Charles and Pat Long of Troy and Don Magill and Rose Godfrey of Piqua; two brothers, Justin Magill at home and Jason Magill of Chicago, Ill.  He also is survived by his aunts and uncles, Kent Long of Clayton, Kathy and Steve Cecil of Burlington, N.C.; Kimbe and Frank Lange of Piqua, Don and Kathie Magill of Piqua, Steve and Kathy Magill of Piqua and Dewey Hampton of Los Angeles, Calif.
He attended Piqua Jr. High School where he was active in the Leadership Club, band and ensemble, piano and soccer.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000 in the Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael B. Slaughter officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church at the conclusion of memorial services Tuesday.
Contributions may be made to the Ginghamsburg Youth Ministry.  Arrangements are being handled through Baird Funeral Home.
