JOSEPH EUGENE ROWE

JOSEPH EUGENE ROWE, age 81, of Troy passed away on Monday, July 07, 2014 at Genesis – Troy Care Center in Troy.  He was born on January 13, 1933 in Barbour County, WV to the late Gerald Paul and Anna (Wilson) Rowe.  Joseph was married to Jean Lucille (Right) Rowe.  She preceded him in death on October 16, 2012.

Joseph is survived by four sons: Bret (Pam Wolfe) Rowe of Dallas, TX, Mark and Rebecca Rowe of Stone Gate, TX, Brian and Charlie Rowe of Cynthiana, KY and Keith E. Rowe of Troy, OH; one brother: Berl Rowe of Tipp City, OH; grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Rowe and Donald Rowe.

Joseph was a former member of Grace Baptist Church in Troy.  He loved to play golf.  Joseph proudly served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Korean War.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Friends may call from 10-11 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
