Joseph Preston, 83, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Sunday June 6, 2004 at the Koester Pavilion in Troy, Ohio. He was born in Bradford, Ohio on September 16, 1920 to the late Clifford and Mary May Harrison Preston. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Treva Vanscoyk Preston and his two children, Joseph Gallo Preston of Troy, Ohio and Joveta ''Jay'' Hearn of Troy, Ohio. He is preceeded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters. He has two grandchildren, Melissa and Kimberly Preston, and three great-grandchildren. He served with the US Army during W.W.II. He was raised at the Knoop's Children Home. He retired in 1985 from Kimberly Clark as a wrapper; and worked as a Janitor for the Troy City Schools, past 18 years. There will be special military honors held at the cemetery.
